All the local Quilts for Kids chapters have an outstanding volunteer staff at our Headquarters in Fairless Hills, PA that provide us with so much support. They handle all our governmental representation, accounting and liability obligations as a 501(c)3 organization so that we can focus on ministering to children. Headquarters graciously shares financial contributions with the local chapters as follows:
- Cash or checks made out to “Quilts for Kids” and received by a local chapter are sent to Headquarters. The money is deposited into chapter specific accounts which can then be used by our chapter only.
- Credit and debit card donations that are made through the “Donate Now” button at the top of this page will go into the same chapter specific accounts but only if the person making the donation specifies the chapter name at the time the donation is made. This can be accomplished in the note field that appears after the transaction is completed.
- Gift cards and certificates purchased from specific vendors like Costco or the USPO and given to a local chapter will only be used directly by that local chapter in their area.
