The purpose for all local Quilts for Kids chapters is to minister to the children in our local areas. However, priority is given to natural disaster victims regardless where the quilts are donated.
It is also of the utmost priority to Quilts for Kids that the children who receive our quilts get to keep the gifted items for their very own possession. Not all charitable organizations have the ability to facilitate this requirement due to health, hygiene, or logistical reasons. That is why we maintain a list of local organizations that we have vetted to achieve this goal. For security reasons, many of these organizations wish to remain anonymous which is why we do not list any of them on our website. If, however, you would like your donation to go to a particular organization, please feel free to leave us a comment below so that we can work things out with that organization.
