It is, Indeed, a Joyous Privilege for Us All

It is, indeed, a joyous privilege for us all to recognize our faithful volunteers. There are no opinions that can come close to expressing our gratitude. So, I’m just going to tell you what Sandy and I both have witnessed with our own eyes and ears. That way you can rejoice along with us with pure joy.

Through the years Sandy and I have had the wonderful opportunity to watch a continued unstinting generosity that totally humbles our hearts with gratitude. Repeatedly, we are approached with the question “How can we help?” When they finish one project, they ask for more. When they finish 20, they ask for 20 more. Always with joy in their eyes and smiles on their lips, they even provide when our chapter has lack. When we’ve expressed our sorrow at needing them so much, they simply say, “Anything to make a child happy.”

What a privilege it is to know that their very generous support is all about loving on the weak and broken and not on ticking a box of generosity. Thank you Heartfelt. You truly live up to your motto, “Crafting from the Heart.” Please accept our heart felt gratitude.

And All Our Volunteers

Please join in with our expression of appreciation for Heartfelt by remembering, that even two small coins given with joy and love make a huge difference. We don’t always express our gratitude as we should because so many of you have told us that you don’t want it. You have made it clear that you are content with greater rewards that we just cannot provide.

We have so many volunteers who are already following in Heartfelt’s footsteps. Binders, thank you for doing what you love. Thank you quilters for working through our back log of quilts that still need to be quilted. Piecers, you are doing a great job at finishing and returning our quilt kits along with the packaging. You make it possible to save money recycling it. Also, thank you to everyone who has taken advantage of our batting discount. Every piece purchased for us helps!

Thank you.

The two of you are AWESOME, so organized, helpful and caring. I cannot comprehend the amount of time and effort you give to make it easy for us!
    Thank You!

Hey Susan, thank you so much. You are right it is time consuming for someone like me who has to learn everything as I go. But the more I do, the more I learn, and the more it gets easier! YEAH for the blessings like just now figuring out how to moderate actual comments on this website.

I am not able to quilt anymore as my arthritis has gotten quite bad. But I have a roll still of 45″ wide batting that I used when making quilts for kids in years past. There is probably about 4-5 quilt lengths on it, maybe more. I would love to see it go to good use. Can I drop it by at one the workshops or someplace?

Hey Beth, so sorry to hear of your pain. I’ve been struggling a lot with the back end of the website and did not get your comment until today. Please forgive me. Can you call Sandy and let her know about this? Her number is on the secured bio page on the website. Once again, I’m sorry for the delayed response.

      Diane.
