Quilt Drop-off Locations

Quilt donations received by Quilts for Kids, Salt Lake Chapter are distributed to Utah children except for national crises. Donations can be made at any of our workshops, but for your convenience, these local fabric stores will act as quilt drop-off locations on our behalf.

What May be Dropped Off

• New (unused) finished quilts made from personal fabric supplies called stash quilts
• Previously signed-out kits with scraps, instructions, and plastic bags as we recycle everything.

Prepare Your Contribution

• First, wrap your quilts in a clean plastic bag to keep them from getting dirting at the store.
• Next, put your name and email address inside the bag so that we can mark any signed-out kits as returned.
• Lastly, to receive a tax receipt, include in the bag a self-addressed stamped envelope requesting a tax receipt.

At the Quilt Drop-off Locations

• Upon arriving at the store, inform the clerks that you are leaving a donation for Quilts for Kids.
• After taking your finished quilts to one of the locations below, text Sandy the name of the store that received your contribution so that piled-up quilts won’t become an inconvenience to these stores.
